Sitting around work today hoping the boss either lets me take my vacation(I haven't taken any yet this year), compensate me for it, or at the very least roll it over to next year. The first and last options are not very feasible, I have not been able to schedule any days off yet this year. The compensation would be sweet, who couldnt use a littl extra this time of year. I still have my 2 full weeks of PTO, never took a sick day, and earned a couple extra days filling in for the owner.
I just learnes a buddy was in a similar situation, and his job is screwing him for a week. My company is family owned, and has been pretty good to me so far. Time will tell
